This package includes the following registrations:
- New (Pty) Ltd Company Registration
- Income Tax Registration
- Tax Clearance Certificate
- BEE- EME Affidavit Template
- PAYE Registration
- UIF Registration
- COID Registration
- FREE Share Certificates
Retailing is one of the fastest-growing segments of the economy and our Retail Business Package allows you to be part of this ever-growing segment. As one of the nation’s largest employers, the retail industry provides excellent business opportunities for you.
To commence with the Retail Business Package Application, the following information and documents are required:
STEP 1 – New Company Registration
- Four proposed names in order of preference
- The number of directors the company will have along with their ID copies
- The postal and physical address of the company (which could be the same as your residential address)
- Company contact details (this includes email addresses and contact numbers)
- The details of the intended director/s. (this includes addresses, contact numbers and email addresses)
- A limited Power of Attorney in which you give us the authority to register a company on your behalf, signed by all intended director/s
- Percentage of Black Owned
- Percentage of Black Woman Owned
Once STEP 1 is complete, you will receive the following documents:
- A registration certificate COR 14.3
- A Notice of Incorporation COR 14.1
- Confirmation of the initial directors appointed to the company COR 14.1A
- Memorandum of incorporation (MOI) COR 15.1A
- Share Certificate
- Proof of Income Tax Registration
- Tax Clearance Certificate
- BEE-EME Affidavit
STEP 2 – Registering for PAYE, UIF and Workmen’s Compensation (COID)
Once you receive the abovementioned documents, the following information and documents are required:
- PAYE Liability Date
- Number of employees
- Commencement date of each employee
- ID Copy of each employee
- Monthly Income of each employee
- Estimated Payroll for the year
- Detailed description of the Business Activities
Once STEP 2 is complete, you will receive the following documents:
- Proof of PAYE Registration
- Proof of UIF Registration
- A Notice of Assessment/ Invoice (W.As.6) – payable to the Department of Labour for your Workmen’s Compensation Registration.
Timeframe for Step 1 is 1-2 weeks.
The timeframe for Step 2:
- PAYE Registration: 1– 2 working days
- UIF Registration: 1 – 2 weeks
- Workmen’s Compensation: 4 – 6 weeks
Note: The abovementioned timeframes are standard however if there is a delay from the relevant Departments due to excessive workload, the processes could take longer.
